The all-new charging dock is available in two sizes for Fire HD 8 and Fire HD 10 (for both modes released in 2017). As we can see from the images, the charging dock shows off a minimal, low-profile appearance design. With a solid black exterior, slim and compact form factor, the dock decently works together with your Fire HD.
The charging dock comes with a snap-on Case with an integrated microUSB connector. All you need to do is just apply the case on your Fire HD, then connect them via the connector, and dock it on the charging station. Once placed on the dock, it will be charged and automatically switch itself to Show Mode, then you can ask Alexa to start your favorite movies, TV shows, books, games, apps or make handsfree voice or video calls.
